Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers modern and well-maintained rooms with a small window providing limited views, but the cozy warmth and provided fan make up for it. The location is ideal for city visits and university trips, only a short walk away. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel is situated on a main artery into Aberdeen, offering easy access to both the city center and local golf courses. The rooms were assigned to us, but unfortunately, the outside noise from an engine next to the window was extremely bothersome, rumbling early in the morning. The service was friendly upon arrival and departure, with the exception of being defensive when addressing our complaints. The location, though not the best, was convenient for reaching the city center and a nearby supermarket. The dining experience, especially for contractors, offered a fair continental breakfast considering the restaurant closure, but it lacked specialty. Overall, the facilities were reasonable.
The hotel is in a convenient location, ideal for exploring the town and university campus with a short walk. The rooms, though a bit outdated in decor, were spacious and comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful, ensuring a secure place for storing bikes. However, the dining options were limited for cooked breakfast without prior notice. Despite the loud traffic noise from the main road, the hotel provided easy access to both the city center and airport.
The hotel had some drawbacks with the rooms being too hot, dirty, and having a view of a dirty pipe, as well as various unpleasant smells. On the bright side, the service was top-notch and the location was convenient for specific needs. The dining experience had some letdowns despite offering plentiful options. The main road noise was a downside despite the hotel's overall appealing style.
